How do I choose the best photographer ?

Choosing a great photographer comes with a bit of research, as well as meeting the photographer and viewing his/her work. Make sure a contract is available for both parties to sign and that a copy is provided to you. Viewing a whole wedding shoot from start to finish, to see what is provided is a good step to getting a great photographer. If you can not be provided with a whole photo shoot and only select photos are to be shown, be wary of what you can not see, but not in every case is this true. Always choose a photographer who will provide you with what you want, unless of course, it is not possible under the circumstances. Make sure you understand what the photographer is saying and that the photographer understands what you want. Ask questions about everything. Be sure to look for the best quality, coverage and service for your budget. And remember, you won't get the best quality for the cheapest price, nor the best coverage for the most photos taken. You can have a thousand photos of the wedding day from an unskilled photographer and not have a single photo worth enlarging. Be sure the photographer has the background to take the photos based on skill and knowledge as well as the know how to process the work once the job is finished.

Why do I need a backup location for my wedding day photos?

A backup location is just that a backup, in case of unexpected weather. Photos can still be taken outside in the weather if the people getting photographed do not mind the weather.

What is needed to get a pencil portrait created?

Li'l Angel Photography creates pencil portraits from photographs provided by the client. Copyright images need a letter of permission from the copyright holder to be used. Regular everyday photos can be used for a pencil portrait. Li'l Angel Photography recommends that you provide several photos so that the best can be chosen unless you have one specifically chosen. Close up photos are always the best, as we recommend a head and shoulder pencil portrait rather than full bodied, so that more detail can be created for the facial features.
Should you be having a pencil portrait of two or more individuals, you can have separate photos, one for each individual on the portrait.
A deposit is required for pencil portraits and the balance required at time of pick-up or before shipping.
