Pencil Portraits

                                                    Our pencil portraits are hand drawn from photographs
                                                supplied by our clients. We have created portraits of pets,
                                             babies, families and wedding photographs. All our pencil
                                           portraits are created on acid free paper with as much detail as
                                         possible to bring the subject to life. All portraits are sprayed with
                                      fixative to prevent smudging of the final work. Framing can be
                                 ordered to complement the work if requested.

                         In portraits of more than one subject, we can work from several different
                    photographs bringing them together to create a masterpiece for your living
                space. Most portraits we create have been head and shoulder portraits, providing
            the ability for a closer view of the subject allowing for intricate detailing of the face
       and hands. We recreate even the smallest details when available, such as individual eye lashes, or a slight scar.

When the photographs are received, we do a preliminary set-up of the subjects with the photographs to show the layout of the final work. The client has the final say on the layout, though we do provide some helpful hints to positioning of the subject (s). With the images chosen, we can also provide the client with a "touch-up" of the photographs (if requested for a small fee), removing small blemishes, pimples, tattoos, wrinkles....

We guarantee our work to be as detailed as we can provide, or we will recreate the portrait a second time.

Most portraits take 2-4 weeks depending on the time of year and scheduling of other work the artist has prebooked.
