Pyrography, aka wood-burning is an amazing visual art. By taking a hot "pen" you actually burn the wood at different temperatures and times to create depth and detail. First you would draw or stencil the image onto your choice of wood and then choose the tip for your "pen" and begin. Extremely elaborate or simple pieces can e created in this manner.

Within our Pyrography department, we have pyrographic portraits, scenics, plaques, and 3D pyrography. Our 3D pyrography is first hand carved to provide a depth to the image and then the burning is implemented on the carved image adding detail where needed. All our pyrographic works can be colored before final clear coating. Our clear coating is a clear, non-yellowing varnish, which is applied in many thin coats with light sandings between each step. A glass-like appearance is provided unless the client chooses otherwise.

The client needs to choose the type of wood they prefer to have their pyrographic image created on. Each type of wood carries a different pricing range. Most clients have requested Clear or notty pine. Pyrographic images do not come with frames.
